What I Learned About Leadership in Unexpected Places
There was a time when I understood leadership primarily through performance. It was about getting things right. Meeting expectations. Ensuring that outcomes aligned with what was required. Structure, clarity and consistency mattered. In many ways, they still do. But over time, I have come to realise that leadership cannot be sustained by performance alone. It has to be grounded in something deeper. This realisation did not come through theory. It came through experience.
